I Have Nothing Against Classy Ladies. Or Their Awards.
I was strongly encouraging the teens to get started on their Summer Reading lists when the girl put me in my place with, “You should write a book and call it ‘How To Overparent Your Beautiful Teenage Daughter And So-So Looking Teenage Son’.” It will come as no surprise to you, then, that she was less than impressed with my recent nomination for a BlogLuxe Award over at SocialLuxeLounge.com.
I, however, was super pleased. I am nominated in the “Most Provocative” category, which seems about right, as I’m just now discovering that not everyone writes about period mishaps and masturbation. Vote for me if you feel like it. There’s no prize (I know, right?) but it might be worth it just to hear those classy ladies say “fuck yeah” when they announce the winners, you know?
Fuck motherfuckin’ yeah. I’ve never voted in blog awards before, but just for the scenario you just posited, I practically skipped over to vote. Youtube footage if it happens, plz.
